Computing Workshops

Newark Computing Services is committed to providing training workshops for all faculty, staff and students. Our goal is to offer a variety of technical workshops designed for the beginner, intermediate and advanced level learners. Workshops are offered through classroom and online training.

You will need your NETID and password to sign in and register for all workshops.

If you do not have an account and would like to create one, please visit the NCS Account Management website.

Classroom Workshop Listing & Registration:

Registration for any of these workshops is available at UHR.

You will receive an email notification from UHR confirming your registration.

Online Workshop Registration:

Online training is offered through Blackboard. Please read the instructions for Online Registration below.

Registration for any of these online workshops is available at Blackboard-Newark.

Instructions for Online Registration: You must have a NETID to log into Blackboard.

• Log into Blackboard using your NETID and password at http://blackboard.rutgers.edu
• Click the EdSeries Tab.
• Locate the workshop of your choice and then click the "Please click her to quick enroll" link. This will bring you to the Self Enrollment page.
• Click the Submit button (this will enroll you in the workshop), and then click OK.

You are now registered and will have access to the workshop. Your registration will expire on the last day of each semester.
